Cloud Phone has been the game changer in telecommunications for the last several years – it’s feature-rich, very scalable and easy to deploy, manage and use. The 2017 project at Fort Hays State University is a great showcase of how switching can be the best thing you’ve ever done.

FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) are projected everywhere when it comes to cybersecurity. From my Facebook feed running ads of companies that say they can provide cybersecurity, to emails that I am afraid to click on that advertise the final solution to cybersecurity and more, the reality is there is no one click, one buy or single solution to meet your cybersecurity needs.

We were at the dinner table this week and I am not really sure how the topic came up, but Caden, my oldest son, asked the question, “When a server at a restaurant asks you 'How is everything?' you  wouldn’t say bad, would you?” To which my wife stated, “Sure I would” (and for that matter she does!) Why would you pay for a meal that was overcooked, undercooked or just wrong?

I have to ask myself, "Are you productive, or busy?" several times a day and have discovered my benchmark of productivity is that day before vacation. You know, you want all those little things off your plate so you can enjoy those days off without thinking about work. That last day of work I am laser focused, I have a list, I don’t respond to the ding of messages on my cell phone, it is all about getting those final tasks completed.

I recently had a prime opportunity to accompany Steve Riat, our Director of Sales, and Justin Dempsey, our IT Manager to a Heartland Technology Group meeting. For anyone in the IT space, that might ring a bell (“Oh cool”), but for most of you, that probably doesn’t mean anything.
